Situated at the intersection of Ermoupolis’ neoclassical elegance and the medieval character of Ano Syra, Dili Villa is a unique residential project that reinterprets Cycladic vernacular architecture through a contemporary lens. Perched on a dramatic hillside, the villa offers uninterrupted panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, including the islands of Tinos and Mykonos.
Half-submerged into the natural slope, the villa is carefully integrated into the landscape. Its planted roof and stone-clad curvilinear veranda allow it to emerge subtly from its surroundings—achieving both visual harmony and architectural distinction.
Our design approach was guided by the topography of the site. The villa’s layout follows the organic contours of the terrain, preserving existing rock formations and incorporating them into the architecture. The residence is composed of two distinct volumes, unified by an expansive green roof and a shaded veranda. At the edge of the property, an infinity pool extends toward the sea, blurring the boundary between built and natural environments.
This project exemplifies our commitment to site-sensitive design and sustainable integration, where architecture becomes a natural extension of its context.
